Fencing stolen from Prince Albert community garden

The Prince Albert Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance with tracking down the culprits behind stolen construction fencing from one of the city’s community gardens.

Police received a report on Oct. 5 that the fencing surrounding the community garden on the 1800 block of 15th Ave was removed. Investigation found that a total of 36 panels were taken on two different occasions between Oct. 1 and 5.

The stolen fencing is red metal construction fencing coming in 6×10 panels. In total, an estimated $6,000 of fencing was stolen, and police believe the fencing was disassembled before transport.

Police are asking anyone with any information to call the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222, or provide their tips anonymously through the link here.
