Charges laid in Little Pine shooting

Two female youth have now been charged with a shooting on a Saskatchewan reserve.

Last Thursday, RCMP said, a 17 year old boy had been shot in the leg during a dispute at a home on the Little Pine First Nation.

Both girls are charged with aggravated assault and numerous weapons offenses. One is also charged with making threats.

The two youth are being held in custody pending the outcome of a court appearance on Wednesday in North Battleford Provincial Court.
