Nipawin to receive a new medical clinic

Feb 10, 2016 | 4:31 PM

The Kelsey Trail Health Region has announced plans to construct a new medical clinic in the town of Nipawin.

In a release, the health region said the Ministry of Health gave its approval to the project last year.

The 10 physicians who will occupy the new clinic are currently operating out of the Nipawin Medical Group Offices on Main St. The new building will be constructed adjacent to the Nipawin Hospital.

The health region said funding is already in place. The physicians have a financial arrangement with the region to pay for the cost of the building, which the health region will own.
