Human remains found near Saskatoon ball diamonds

A shocking discovery near the Holiday Park Golf Course as two people out checking conditions of some ball diamonds Sunday morning came across some badly decomposed human remains.

Saskatoon police Major Crime Unit investigators and forensic technicians were called out to the scene, along with the coroner. Police believe the remains are that of an adult man's. The body may have been there for some time, perhaps even through the winter.

An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday, the cause of death is still unknown.The man's identity has not been revealed.
