Elderly man missing from the Battlefords area, found dead

A 79 year old man who went missing at the end of last month has been found dead on his property in the Mayfair area east of the Battlefords.
Blaine Lake RCMP conducted a search of George Olenyshyn`s property earlier this week and found what they believed were human remains.
The remains were sent to a forensic anthropologist who determined the remains are those of Olenyshyn.
His death is not considered suspicious.
