Jul 27, 2015 | 6:43 PM

Weyburn’s Rhys Tosczak will be the lone golfer under par when the 104th Saskatchewan Amateur Men’s Golf Championships at Estevan resume on Wednesday. Tosczak shot a 68 to sit at -4, four strokes better than Regina golfers Tyler Wright and Drew Kocur.

Danny Klughart had the best score of any Prince Albert golfer in the tournament after Day One, shooting a 74 to sit at +2. Although he’s technically in an eight way tie for 10th, Klughart is only two strokes back of second place.

Prince Albert’s Brett Henry shot a 76, while Harris Cameron of Duck Lake was at 77, Elwin Cameron fired a 79 and Waskesiu’s Liam Courtney shot a 78. Martin Ring, the defending Sask Men’s Amateur champion, sat at 84. Junior-aged Cory Sawchuk of Prince Albert was at 86.

Tournament organizers scrubbed play on Tuesday because of rain and wind of up to 70km an hour. Round two is scheduled for Wednesday, with rounds three and four set for Thursday.
