Female chief re-elected in Lac La Ronge Indian Band

Tammy Cook-Searson will remain Chief of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band for the next three years.
She won yesterday’s band election with 1,045 votes.
The runner up was Henry Mckenzie with 660 votes.
A swearing in ceremony is taking place this morning in La Ronge at the Jonas Roberts Memorial Community Centre.
