A youth accused of murdering a senior citizen did not appear in court on Friday morning for a scheduled court appearance.
The boy’s attendance was waived for the hearing at the Prince Albert Provincial Court.
He is charged with the first-degree murder of Marina Thorpe, 64, whose body was found near a walking path on April 19 in the Crescent Heights area.
During the brief hearing, lawyers told the judge they needed time to review some recent disclosure.
