Regina-born woman wins big on The Price is Right

Jan 28, 2015 | 12:15 PM

A woman from Regina now has … a new car! … thanks to The Price is Right.

Amanda Ruller, 26, was on the show Wednesday morning sporting a white bandana with red maple leaves.

She made it out of contestants’ row on the last prize with a $1 bid, then beat the dice game handily to win a new Hyundai Sonata.

She also beat out two people spinning the wheel twice to get to the Showcase Showdown. But she lost by bidding too much for her showcase that included a Ducati motorcycle, a train trip to San Diego, and a vacation to Spain.

Ruller grew up in Regina but now lives in Los Angeles.
