2 A&W Bears to represent Sask. at Canada Winter Games

Two players with the Prince Albert A&W Bears have been selected to represent Saskatchewan at next year’s Canada Winter Games.

Goaltender Jessica Vance and defenseman Brooke Hobson will play as part of Team Saskatchewan’s U18 team in February.

The girls are no strangers to the team, having taken part in the U18 National Women’s championships in Calgary in November 2013.

The team will consist of 12 forwards, six defencemen and two goalies.

The Canada Winter Games run from Feb. 12 to 21 in Prince George, B.C.
