RCMP arrests man in Montreal Lake wanted on 17 charges

The RCMP arrested a 22-year-old man wanted on 17 outstanding charges on Montreal Lake Cree Nation on Wednesday.

Craig McDonald will be appearing in a Montreal Lake court on Thursday.

The RCMP had issued an arrest warrant for McDonald in October.

McDonald, from Montreal Lake, faces two counts of assault, two counts of being unlawfully in a dwelling, mischief under $5,000, theft under $5,000, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, resisting arrest, and 11 counts relating to breaches.

All of the charges originate in Montreal Lake.
