U14 Celtic Boys start season 0-1-1

The Under 14 Celtic Boys have started the year 0-1-1 in their opening weekend of the season.

They earned a 1-1 draw against QCT United Saturday and a 5-1 defeat to Unidad on Sunday.

Celtic was down 1-0 at the half in their opening match to QCT, but were kept in the game with big saves from Hudson Goertz.

Sebastian Amezquita later scored the equalizer in the second half for Celtic, for the 1-1 draw.

It was all Unidad on Sunday, who ran up the score with a 5-1 victory over Celtic. Evan Lafitte scored the lone goal for Prince Albert.

The Prince Albert Celtics Under 14 Boys next host the Unidad Juniors on Saturday, May 31 at 11:00am at Prime Minister’s Park Soccer Field and Yorkton United FC on Sunday, June 1 at 11:00am at Prime Minister’s Park Soccer.
