A few more doors could open for Saskatchewan families.

New funding – totaling $34 million – is being provided by the provincial government to help develop more affordable rental housing units in communities.

More than 100 communities across the province will share the money

“We are committed to delivering more affordable housing for the people of Saskatchewan at the same time as we rehabilitate our existing social housing portfolio,” said Jude Draude, Minister of Social Services and minister responsible for Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, in a press release.
