Saskatchewan Roughriders re-sign Kye Stewart

The Saskatchewan Roughriders continue to lock up free agents.

The team announced Monday it re-signed import linebacker Kye Stewart to a contract. No financial details were released.

Stewart is heading into his third season with the green and white.

In his two seasons, he has dressed in 17 games recording 23 defensive tackles, 24 special teams tackles, one interception, and two forced fumbles.

In another move Monday, the team also released import returner/receiver Ryan Grice-Mullen.
