Tim Bozon is now in stable condition and has been moved out of the intensive care unit.

The star Kootenay Ice hockey player was admitted to a Saskatoon hospital early this month after being diagnosed with meningitis.

Bozon’s parents said in a media release that he is awake, moving around in his bed, trying to feed himself and trying to speak.

He had been in a coma and doctors were slowly trying to wake him up.
