ICE unit search leads to one arrest

One man has been arrested following the execution of a search warrant on a residence in Prince Albert.

The search warrant was executed by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit on July 9.

Paul Skotheim, 47, was arrested as a result of the search warrant.

He is being charged with possession of child pornography, make available child pornography and access child pornography.

Skotheim has already made his first court appearance and was released on strict conditions.

He will appear at the Prince Albert Provincial Court again on Aug. 26.

The ICE unit consists of members of the Prince Albert Police Services, the Saskatoon Police Service, the Regina Police Service and the RCMP.

The ICE unit investigates serious sexual crimes against children.
