The Prince Albert Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) and the Prince Albert Police Service (PAPS) have successfully executed another drug bust in the city.

While following up on an investigation, officers were able to secure a warrant to search an unspecified residence in Prince Albert.

Upon searching the home officers discovered an undisclosed amount of prescription pills and cash.

In relation to the search, officers arrested Benjamin Kedoin, 31, and Sharon Starblanket, 41, both of Prince Albert.

Kedoin was in provincial court March 22 facing charges of break and enter, theft under $5000, possession of a substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

He was remanded into custody until his next court appearance on March 25.

Starblanket faces the charges of possession of a controlled substance.

CFSEU is a Government funded task force made up of personnel from the Prince Albert Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, Regina Police Service, and the RCMP.

Their mandate is to expose, investigate, disrupt, dismantle and prosecute organized crime enterprises.
