Smoking legislation goes into effect

There are new laws in place that should make you think twice before lighting a cigarette.
Today if you are caught smoking with someone under 16 in the car there are fines to pay.
Sgt. Kelly McLean with the Prince Albert police is not sure how much the fines are.
He says it shouldn't matter, people should not be smoking with kids in the car to start with.
McLean admits it might be a hard law to enforce, but police will do thier best and will be writing tickets.
