More people are working in Saskatchewan

First Nations and Metis people in Saskatchewan are part of a positive trend in the province.

According to the latest job figures from Statistics Canada, more people in this demographic are working this time of year, compared to the same time last year.

There are 1,700 more people are collecting a pay cheque.

The majority of the jobs came from the private sector.

The province's overall unemployment rate dropped slightly from October to November.
