A conference board report says numbers are encouraging and Saskatchewan will continue to grow over the next two years.

The Conference Board of Canada predicts the province's economy will grow by 4.4 per cent next year.

“In the year 2011, we are going to lead Canada and in the year after we are going to be tied with Alberta, so those are very strong numbers for our province,” said Ken Krawetz, finance minister for Saskatchewan.

Currently, Saskatchewan's economy is stable Krawetz said.
