Police seize shotgun from snoozing suspect
As the saying goes, if you snooze you lose.
A 19-year old suspect from the Little Red River First Nation learned this lesson the hard way, after being caught sleeping with a sawed off shotgun in the passenger seat of his car.
Around 2 p.m. on Sept. 23 police seized the firearm, arrested the male and charged him with seven firearms related charges. He is set to make his first appearance in provincial court today.
On Sept. 20, Prince Albert Police Service responded to a call about a stolen vehicle. The van was reported stolen roughly half an hour earlier by residents of a home along the 500 block of 11 St. E.
