All but one of 10 injured in bus, semi collision near Kerrobert out of hospital
A spokesman for the company that employs 10 workers who were hurt in a crash between a semi-truck and a converted school bus near Kerrobert says all but one have been released from hospital.
Paul Stuckless, corporate safety manager for O.J. Pipelines, says the workers were travelling to Kindersley from a worksite when their bus was struck by a grain truck near Kerrobert Friday evening.
He says 16 workers in the pipe welding crew — including the driver — were on board at the time.
According to RCMP, emergency personnel were called to the intersection of Highways 51, 21 and 31 at 4:26 p.m. Friday after a semi hauling two trailers of canola heading eastbound on Highway 51/21 collided with a converted school bus travelling southeast on Highway 31.
