‘Scoreleski’ continues to contribute for Raiders
Life in Prince Albert is a lot different than in the suburbs of Seattle, but Raider forward Devon Skoleski is enjoying his first year in Saskatchewan after spending the last two seasons with the Everett Silvertips.
Skoleski joined the Raiders in the offseason, and has been an anchor down the middle for his new team so far. In 12 games played, the 20-year-old has four goals and two assists for six points.
“(Living in Prince Albert) has been good so far. My teammates have been unbelievable, my billets have been unbelievable, and it’s been a really good experience,” Skoleski said before acknowledging there are some adjustments. “We didn’t really get winter there, so the weather is a bit different.”
The native of St. Adolphe, MB has enjoyed playing closer to home this season, and had a huge contingent of family and friends in attendance in Brandon on Oct. 14-15, cheering him and his Raider teammates on.
