PHOTOS: Storm leaves debris in downtown Prince Albert

A storm that passed through Prince Albert Wednesday afternoon left debris behind.

Trees and branches were left scattered down 11th St. near 4th Ave. E.

A resident of the area said the street was nearly impassable after the storm moved on.

She said work crews arrived immediately to begin cleaning up the mess.

Clean up for the storm still continues today.City Hall has received lots of calls regarding broken trees since yesterday afternoon.

Anyone with broken trees in their yard is encouraged to contact the city’s community services department at 306 – 953 – 4800.

The city will send someone to take away the broken trees and assess the ones that are still standing.
