Tickets still left for Rider playoff game

The Riders are still hoping for a capacity crowd for this Sunday's western-semi final against the B.C. Lions at Mosiac Stadium in Regina.

As of 5 p.m. on Friday, about a thousand tickets were still available.

Jim Hopson, President and CEO of the Saskatchewan Roughriders said he was a little surprised the game wasn't yet a sell out.

But he said there are a couple of reasons why fans haven't rushed to the ticket office.

“I think the weather really played into it earlier in the week and the way we played that one month stretch,” said Hopson

Hopson said the dollars are secondary to the energy a capacity crowd gives the players.
