With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear wife, mother, and grandmother, Carole.

Carole was born in Belleville Ontario to her parents Warren and Thelia Spafford. She was the eldest of two children.

Carole lived in Belleville throughout her childhood and met and married her high school sweetheart Bruce Fox, to whom she was married for 65 years.

She is remembered as a woman who loved her family deeply. She had three children: Scott (Erika), Craig (Charity) and Lisa (Brad). She was overjoyed to watch six grandchildren (Rebecca, Sarah, Eric, Alex, Owen and Sierra) grow and flourish, and they will all miss her deeply.

Following a brief illness, Carole passed away at Trenton Memorial Hospital on September 2nd.

Visitation will be held at Steele Funeral Home, 30 Moira Street West, Belleville on Wednesday, September 9th, 2026, beginning at 11 am. Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at Belleville Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.

In memory of Carole, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
