For the third year in a row, Charles Repair and Service has been recognized with a BOB Award for Best Small Engine Repair.

A family-owned business for more than 40 years, the team at Charles Repair and Service know their products and are proud to offer great service, a large selection of quality equipment and honest pricing. The business carries chainsaws, generators, lawn and garden equipment, snow blowers, loader engines, log splitters, pressure washers, water pumps, pruning & landscaping supplies, a selection of safety clothing and footwear. Charles Repair services and offers repairs for most brands of small equipment.

“Everything that we sell, we can get parts for and repair,” says co-owner Karl Rudniski.

“That builds confidence.” He goes on to say “there is nothing worse than buying a piece of equipment and having problems with it, or not being able to get parts or service for it.”

Charles Repair and Service has been a part of the business community in Prince Albert since 1975. The business was started by Charles Rudniski and his wife Adeline in 1975. Karl and his brother Peter grew up in the business, working after school and Saturdays before taking over as co-owners while their parents enjoy retirement. Karl says they both enjoy working with their customers and also work well together.

Since their move three years ago to a larger facility at 111 17th St. W., Charles Repair and Service has been able to expand their showroom to offer a larger selection of parts and equipment. Charles Repair and Service moved into the former Wheel-A-While building three years ago, going from 3,700 square feet to over 14,000 square feet with ample parking.

Charles Repair and Service has everything on site, ready for customers to pick up when they need. “Having the right parts and the product knowledge customers want is key to their success.” Peter adds.

“Service and parts is key. We try to get you what you need as fast and as efficiently as we can,”

“We’re here more to get the right piece of equipment for the job into the person’s hand and to get their equipment running properly, rather than just make the sale.”

After 40 years, Charles Repair and Service has gotten to know generations of families and customers who trust they have the parts they need with the information and service to back it up.  With long-term knowledgeable staff behind the counter or the wrench, you can expect to see a friendly familiar face eager to help you with your small engine requirements each time you walk through their door.

Charles Repair and Service is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m.- 5:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m. They are closed over long weekends.
