The Water Heater Guy Inc. (formerly George’s plumbing) is a locally owned company that specializes in one thing: hot water.

George Delooze owner of The Water Heater Guy has over 35 years of experience in the plumbing and heating industry and until recently his business operated under the company name of George’s Plumbing.

“I have been plumbing since 1976 so I am a bit of an old hand when it comes to that,” said Delooze. “And I have been in Prince Albert almost entirely since 1983.”

George’s Plumbing was formed in 2001 and six years ago George began to specialize in and concentrate specifically on water heaters and their installation and maintenance. He said though their name has changed their services will remain mostly the same and The Water Heater Guy will continue to meet the hot water needs of Prince Albert and area.

George and his staff Ian Painchaud and Brad Gale work promptly to take care of their customer’s hot water needs. They are professional and know their way around a water heater and offer prompt same day in city service if you call before 11 a.m.

George said they are now also offering a maintenance/replacement program to their customers that will ensure a longer life for their water heater and will include replacement, when the time comes, at no additional cost!

“Water heaters are a little more complicated now then they used to be,” he said. “There are components on them now that sometimes stop working, so we will now on a routine scheduled basis come by and service them.”

“All water heaters now have a flame arrestor and that flame arrestor is going to fill with dust and it will need to be cleaned. It’s not a big scary procedure but it does need to get done or it will starve for air, suffocate the flame and stop working.”

Delooze said his staff, are the best at what they do and The Water Heater Guy offers the best price.

“We are normally in and out within in an hour and half,” he said.  “And I do believe that we have very good customer rapport.”

Staff at The Water Heater Guy will service all brands of water heaters.  The Bradford White Products they supply are proven to be one of the most reliable and easily repaired.

Delooze said they will sell nearly 1000 water heaters this year and they will install  more than 80 per cent of the residential replacement water heaters in the city.

“I have been doing this long time.  People will say they asked their friends or people at work or they asked their mother almost always they said we had a referral,” he said.

“And that is a great feeling,” he added.
