Marauders get to quarters, Crusaders girls get fourth

The St. Mary Marauders were ousted in the quarterfinals at the SHSAA 5A Boys Volleyball Provincials on Saturday at École St. Mary.
The Marauders finished 3-1 in their pool and were matched up against the Regina LeBoldus Golden Suns in the quarterfinals. The Marauders won the opening set 25-20, but lost the last two 25-20 and 15-8.
The Crusaders girls won all three of their matches on Friday at 5A Girls Volleyball Provincials, but lost their last pool game to Regina Campbell in straight sets.
The Crusaders beat Swift Current 2-0 in the quarterfinals, but then lost to Saskatoon Holy Cross in the semifinals, and Weyburn in the bronze medal match.
