Injury free weekend for highway travelers in P.A. area

A pair of crashes highlighted a busy weekend for Parkland Ambulance.
 
Shortly before 8p.m. Saturday night, paramedics responded to a vehicle that struck wildlife on highway 55, six kilometres north of Shellbrook. Paramedics at the scene reported there were no human injuries.
 
Late Sunday morning, paramedics responded to a motor vehicle collision five kilometres west of Spruce Home. Paramedics at the scene reported there were no injuries.

Over the course of the weekend, Parkland Ambulance responded to a total of 62 incidents.
