Concerts, pre-game barbecue on deck for Raiders opening night

Hockey is back in Prince Albert.

Friday night, the Raiders open the WHL regular season with a showdown against the Regina Pats. In advance of the big night, the team has unveiled a number of activities and entertainment options for fans.

Starting in the parking lot, the Prince Albert Titans junior B hockey club will be hosting a pre-game barbecue as fans begin to roll in.

Once inside, the festivities include performances by Saskatchewan artist Travis Blanchard in the Ches Leach Lounge during intermissions and after the 900 CKBI live post-game show. One lucky fan will be going home with a significant chunk of change in their pocket, as the 50/50 jackpot draw begins at $5,000.

Prior to puck drop, the Raiders will hold a tribute to Adam Herold and the Humboldt Broncos, as well as introducing the 2018-19 team.
