Warman RCMP seize drugs, firearms from home in R.M. of Corman Park

Police seized a large amount of drugs and a number of firearms over the weekend as a team executed a search warrant at a home in the R.M. of Corman Park, near Dalmeny.

Members of the Prince Albert Emergency Response Team, North Battleford Police Dog Services, and the Dalmeny and Saskatoon Police Services entered the residence where they arrested two people. They also seized nine long-barrel firearms, ammunition, three pellet guns, many knives, a machete, and a baton.

The drug-related seizures included quantities police believe to be methamphetamine, ecstasy, and drug-related paraphernalia.

Kristen Mitchener, 36, and Kendall Misponas, 27, who are both from the Corman Park area, were charged with possession of a schedule III drug, possession of a schedule I drug, possession of firearms without holding a licence, possession of firearms not knowing the cardholder, and possession of a firearm with the serial number defaced.
