Prince Albert Police, Daxa make another arrest

Police arrested one youth over the weekend after members were dispatched to a robbery on the 1900-block of Central Avenue.

The male entered a business and demanded cash from a worker after threatening them with bear spray, police said. The alleged robber left with an undisclosed amount of cash, and police set up a containment in the area.

Const. Kelsey Bighetty and Police Service Dog Daxa arrested the suspect at a home on 19th St. W. Officers found the stolen cash inside the residence.

The 17-year-old was charged with stealing currency from a business while armed with an offensive weapon and intent to commit an offence while wearing a mask.
