Police dog finds teen suspect charged with break and enter

Police have one male youth in custody after a break and enter investigation early this morning.

Around 2:55 a.m. on March 21, police were dispatched to a call where two males were attempting to break into vehicles on Kelly Place.

After setting up a containment of the area, Police Service Dog Febee located a 15-year-old youth in a backyard on 29 Street East. The second male was not located.

The teen, who cannot be named due to provisions under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was charged with break and enter, being at large of his undertaking and breaching a youth sentence order.
