A male driver is facing several charges after police found him passed out in a vehicle early Friday morning.

On Feb. 9, police were dispatched after a complainant reported the driver on the 200 block of Eight Avenue East.

Police say the man, 32, had outstanding warrants and was arrested after officers woke him up.

In their search of drugs or alcohol in the vehicle, officers found 143 grams of methamphetamine in several bags, multiple cellphones, a large amount of cash, a jar of marijuana and a baton.

The man's vehicle was towed and he was booked in the detachment's cellblock.

He now faces four charges: possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime exceeding $5,000 and operating a motor vehicle while disqualified.

He will appear in Prince Albert Provincial Court today.
