Rainfall warnings issued for parts of south, central Sask.

From drought to drenched.

Environment Canada issued a heavy rainfall warning for Saskatoon and areas north and east overnight.

“Rainfall criteria is 50 millimitres and Saskatoon is going to be right on the borderline,” Mike McDonald, meteorologist with Environment Canada, said.

As of Tuesday morning, Saskatoon had received about half that amount.
