City looks to ban single-use plastic retail bags
The City of Prince Albert is asking for the public’s opinion in a new survey in regard to the banning of single-use retail plastic bags.
A short, three-question survey is now available on the city’s website, according to Director of Public Works Wes Hicks.
“This was brought up recently in council for the administration to investigate the possibility of removing single-use plastic retail bags,” Hicks said.
“We are very early in the analysis of this issue but felt that it was important to hear from the public so that all perspectives are considered in advance of that decision.”
