Prison term sought for Alain Germain for stealing SIGA money

Alain Germain, the Saskatoon man who pleaded guilty to stealing $1.2 million from the Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority has had his sentencing delayed until Oct. 12.
In a joint submission, the prosecution and defence agreed that a three-and-a-half year prison term would be appropriate.
However, the judge decided an adjournment was necessary to review case law regarding restitution.
