East Hill house fire not suspicious: police

Arson has been ruled out as the cause of a house fire in Prince Albert’s East Hill area.

The Prince Albert Police Service and Prince Albert Fire Department have completed a joint investigation into the cause of the fire which occurred on the morning of April 8.

Murray Shand, 51, was located inside his residence and removed by firefighters. He was then transferred to the care of Parkland Ambulance on scene where he was pronounced deceased.

No foul play was involved.
