Bexson takes Chamber Chair

The Prince Albert and District Chamber of Commerce has a new chairman to head its operations in the coming year.
At the annual Chamber Chairman’s dinner, Joe Bexson was honoured with the title and handed the ceremonial gavel of the chair position.
Bexson is known in the Prince Albert community for his years in management and sales.
He said he accepted the chairman position with the chamber after years of involvement with the organization.
Bexson said he wants to use his time as chair to help bring together the knowledge of experienced businesses people in the community and mix it with the drive of young entrepreneurs.
“We’ve got to step up as a chamber to put those people together in a room and make them interact,” said Bexson.
“If we can form that culture of getting people to interact and share that wealth of information, I think we’d be better off altogether.”
Bexson said he plans on achieving this be reintroducing a long-dormant program of business mentorship.
