Saskatchewan becoming more energy efficient: Sask Energy

Saskatchewan is becoming more energy efficient, this from Sask Energy.

Five years ago, the crown corporation launched its Home Energy Efficiency Project.

“(The goal was to) help those with lower income learn about easy and simple energy efficiency items that anyone can do to their house to in the longterm to help save them some money,” said Shannon Doka, community involvement co-ordinator with Sask Energy.

Doka says the initiative, which has now ended, was a success.

Sask Energy surpassed its 2,500 home goal and reached 2,615 households across the province.
