Two-vehicle collision sends people to hospital

Ambulance, police and fire attended to a two-vehicle collision in front of the Cuelenaere Public Library at 12th Street and First Avenue East, at about 5 p.m.

Paramedics treated four people for their injuries. They were all taken to Victoria Hospital for further care and treatment. The persons injured are described as good and stable.

There was also puppy was involved in the incident. Nobody was available to look after the animal so the communications centre staff at Parkland Ambulance are babysitting the puppy until the injured people are out of the hospital and can reclaim him.

The northbound lane was briefly shut out down, as fire fighters cleaned up the scene.
