Saskatchewan's population continues to gain ground.
According to Statistics Canada, the province grew by 15,078 people in 2010 to bring the population to 1,052,050.
Saskatchewan saw the fastest growth rate in all of western Canada and the second highest among the provinces, just slightly behind Prince Edward Island.
International migration and more births versus deaths were the biggest factors for the growth. About 2, 700 people moved to Saskatchewan from elsewhere in Canada.
