Election looming for Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation

A First Nation that was gripped by controversy last month, will have an election next week.

Band members belonging to the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation will vote for chief and council on Apr. 14.

Advanced polls are Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Some band members have expressed concern following a report from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation that showed how much the Chief and Council were making.
