Saskatoon death suspicious, police say
A young man is dead and police are treating his death as suspicious.
During the lunch hour on Wednesday, officers responded to a report that a man was injured just north of 22nd Street. Police found the young man’s body lying outside of a home on Avenue I North.
Police Chief Clive Weighill said two teen homicides in two week is “very concerning” and it’s one of the reasons he’s shuffling his police service.
“That’s why we’re trying to get as many tentacles out there as we can into the community,” Weighill said.
