2 dead after accident near Estevan

Two people are dead after an accident on Highway 18 near Estevan on Sunday morning.
RCMP were called to a two-vehicle accident about 15 kilometres west of Estevan at about 9:15 a.m.
A vehicle headed east veered into the westbound lane, striking a semi traveling west. The semi was hauling a Super-B trailer loaded with fertilizer.
The vehicle caught fire on impact, and was burned beyond recognition.
The two people in the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi suffered only minor injuries.
The names of the victims will not be released at this time.
Police say that section of Highway 18 will be closed to traffic for most of Sunday while they investigate.
