Astros win weekend tournament

The Prince Albert PeeWee Astros captured the championship in the early bird tournament over the weekend outscoring their opponents 54-2 in three round robin games. Troy Preymack struck out 10 during four perfect innings on the mound in the Astros 7-0 win over the Saskatoon Selects in the championship game.  Brennon Parenteau and Brayden Schnider provided some stellar defense in addition to hitting home runs in the title game. Three players have returned from last year’s Western Canadian championship squad.
