Police link 4 suspects to break-in
Around 3:15 a.m. on Wednesday Prince Albert Police attended a break and enter complaint in the Crescent Acres area.
Police said the complainant told them they woke up to noise coming from their garage. When the outside lights were turned on, police said the suspects ran away. In a statement police said the suspects got into the garage by using the garage door opener, which was found in an unlocked vehicle in the driveway.
Four suspects were found quickly by police and were in possession of property that linked them to the break and enter, as well as other property offences.
Police said an investigation revealed the suspects gained entrance into around 30 vehicles overnight from the West Hill, East Hill through Crescent Acres and into Crescent Heights. All of the vehicles entered had been left unlocked.
