Songwriter’s Competition

SaskMusic songwriters, you’re invited to apply to be a part of this awesome co-writing event: Deadline July 6!

The Canadian Songwriting Challenge, Saskatoon, in partnership with Canadian Council of Music Industry Associations and Bell Media:
A two-day songwriting event July 25-26. A mix of nine experienced and emerging songwriters will be selected and organized into groups of three to collaborate and record demonstration songs. Award-winning singer/songwriter Jay Semko will mentor these sessions.

Selected songwriter participants will receive some class instruction on co-writing etiquette, agreements, and songwriting technique, and have an opportunity to network and establish permanent
collaborative partnerships.

SaskMusic songwriter members of all genres are invited to submit for a spot in this event. Deadline July 6.
