P.A. athletes finish strong at Nationals

Some Prince Albert track and field athletes are proving they can keep up with anyone in the country.

Austin Strauss, Karson Lehner, and Brenna Hammel were in Edmonton last weekend at the Canadian Track and Field Championships.

Lehner posted a personal best time of 22.50 in the junior 200 metre category. Lehner reached the semifinals, and would finish 16th on Saturday.

Strauss also ran a personal best time of 49.24 during qualifications in the 400 metre Junior event. He was also able to make it to the semifinals and onto finals where he finished 6th.
